Direct cremation + natural interment of ashes
What is a direct cremation with interment of ashes?
A direct cremation + interment of ashes is where we arrange an unattended cremation without a funeral service followed by natural interment of ashes in a biodegradable container at one of our chosen sites.
In most cases people do attend the interment of ashes, and as with all natural burials it’s a nice chance to celebrate the person whose ashes are being buried, say a few informal words or hold a service.
For direct cremation + natural interment of ashes you’ll need to reach out to us by phone on 01623 677 100 or drop us an email: info@tithegreen.com
If you’re arranging cremation separately and would just like to arrange an interment of ashes with us, that’s absolutely fine. Just select ‘natural interment of ashes’.
From £2,295 (depending on your choices).
Why choose a direct cremation + natural interment of ashes?
- It's less expensive than a traditional funeral – direct cremation is lower cost than traditional funerals or cremations. There are no hidden fees or additional costs, meaning it is an option for everyone.
- Simplicity - not everybody wishes to have an elaborate funeral. A direct cremation and ashes interment is a simple ‘no fuss’ option which reflects the deceased’s wishes of having a simple service.
- It's an environmentally friendly option - by naturally burying the ashes in a biodegradable urn, it positively contributes to the local eco-system by encouraging wildlife + biodiversity.
- A beautiful eternal resting place - our sites are based in the stunning countryside, providing an idyllic place to be laid to rest. Family and friends will always be welcome to visit, at any time and every day.
